Call For Papers
Goals The International Conference on Emerging Databases is an annual forum for exploring technologies, novel applications, and research of emerging database fields. Using this forum, researchers and practitioners can exchange current issues, challenges, new technologies, and practical experiences. The sixth International Conference on Emerging Databases - Technologies, Applications, and Theory (EDB2016) will focus on data science, data mining, big data management and analytics, etc. which are popular areas from computer science and other related fields. The EDB2016 will be held at Jeju Island, Jeju, Korea. Authors are invited to submit original and research papers addressing technical issues, solutions, and technologies in emerging database and data science fields. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the members of the international program committee. All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings with an assigned ISBN number and also published in the ACM Digital Library.

Submission Original papers that have not been published previously or are not under review in other journals or conferences will be considered. All submitted papers will be evaluated according to their originality, significance, correctness, presentation, and relevance. Papers should be submitted as PDF file through EasyChair, http://www.easychair.org, which must be formatted according to the conference camera-ready format. The direct link for paper submission is https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=emerging_db2016. Papers can be submitted as either regular or short papers. Regular papers are limited to 10 pages in ACM format and short papers limited to 4 pages (short papers will be presented at poster sessions). Accepted regular and short papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

Award and Journal Special Issues EDB2016 Best Paper/Poster Awards will be conferred at the conference to the authors of the best research/application papers. A set of selected papers will be recommended to several journals (mostly SCI-indexed) for further publication after extension.
