Aims

Applied Sciences (ISSN 2076-3417) provides an advanced forum on all aspects of applied natural sciences. It publishes reviews, research papers and communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Electronic files and software regarding the full details of the calculation or experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary electronic material.

The field of image processing has long been at the forefront of leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionize how we analyze, interpret, and utilize visual data. This has been facilitated by the rapid advancements in computational power, the availability of large annotated datasets, and the development of sophisticated AI techniques such as deep learning, computer vision, and pattern recognition.

The adoption of AI in image processing has triggered a wave of innovation that spans from medical imaging and diagnostics to security surveillance, autonomous vehicles, and digital media. The ability of AI to recognize patterns, classify images, and detect anomalies has far-reaching implications for enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and speed in image analysis tasks.
