Aim of the Journal

Engineering analysis with boundary elements is dedicated to the latest developments of engineering analysis with boundary elements, mesh reduction, and other related innovative and emerging numerical methods. The journal founded in 1984 was originally focused on the development of the Boundary Element Method. Its scope has since been expanded to include the emerging mesh reduction and meshless methods. The aim of the journal is to promote the use of non-traditional, innovative, and emerging computational methods for the analyses of modern engineering problems.

The rapid development in AI-based technologies for solving partial differential equations (PDEs) has been attracting attention from mathematicians, engineers, and scientific researchers. As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to revolutionize various fields, it is crucial to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to share their latest advancements, theories, and applications in this rapidly evolving domain. The primary goal of this Special Issue is to provide an in-depth exploration of cutting-edge applications of AI, elucidating both the theoretical underpinnings and practical implications. Our aim is to encompass a diverse array of domains where AI is revolutionizing industries and making substantial contributions.

We invite original research articles, reviews, and case studies that address the following topics (but are not limited to):
